Last December 23 I went to Tuburan along with my lola. She used to spent her Christmas at our house in Mandaue that time but unfortunately she received a text message from her daughter that she’s needed there. I accompanied her as she is too old already to venture a 4hours journey alone. I hurriedly took a bath and packed up a little as I will be spending a night there. We rode in a bus named Emmanuel and was able to reach grandma’s place at 3pm. It’s not my first time to be there as we stayed there for a long while during summer when we were still kids. Oh those days really gives me headaches hehe as I had lots of memories of the place, of the people and specially the fun I’ve experienced
.
Now I’m back there again and noticed remarkable changes. There were internet cafe’s already, some stores doubled it’s sizes, a nicely built roof-covered gym, beautiful houses and some more. Wow! Tuburan is indeed a remarkable place. How I wish I was born there as I truly admired my mom’s hometown. I even told her that I’m going to build a house there in due time after all my goals are reached. Such a simple ambition for a guy like me hehe but I know the day will come someday where I will be living there *wink*. I was also able to attend the “Simbang Gabi” which is of course my first time in that place. Father Lucas headed the mass and it’s great. The ambiance is so cool that you can really tell that the air is purified with nature’s natural effect. The people were friendly as I took my seat in between the ladies where they provided a slot for me hehe. After the mass we then moved out to enjoy the dawn’s masterpiece where the lights are still glowing under the velvet sky. The sun is rising so we took some small steps on the old port I guess and then went back after a while. Of course if you are in another place you have to take some views along with you.
So I took some pictures there however it is just a handful of views but will try next time to get some more specially the great spots that everyone usually goes to
. You can see more pictures here >> Tuburan.
Lastly,
